Opened a Dorico Template and scored a piece for Concert Band. I hear the Trumpet part in the first four measures and then beginning in m. 5 the sound becomes a Clarinet. I’m sure I am doing something wrong.

I’m not an expert in this area, so I can’t tell where you went wrong, but if I do Play > Playback Template it looks like you don’t have the NotePerformer template assigned. When I select that and click “Apply and Close”, then the playback sounds as expected.
