Hi I try to change my quantize pattern from 1/16 tripplet to 1/16 swing 52%, after this change I naturally want to requanatize my midi events, I select event, open midi editor, select all notes and apply Q, after that many midi notes just disappear. What the hack?
what is the logic behind this quantize mechanism that modifies all those notes on first picture to the three notes on the second one ???
does it have to do anything with the fact I load very old cubase project created by whatever cubase version in 2005 ?

My guess is that you have multiple notes at the same position. Try to select one note (by clicking on it) and transpose it one step up/down (arrow up/down). Then you can see if there is someone else behind.
You can also use the lasso selection, select one of the notes (with the lasso around). You will see in the Info Line that if the values are white, only one note is selected; if the values are orange, multiple notes are selected (so they overlap).
