Notes disappear in engrave mode

Help…some notes that appear in WRITE mode randomly disappear when in ENGRAVE mode.

ENGRAVE MODE

There should be an eighth note in between the 2 sixteenths for the rhythm on beat 1

In Engrave mode > Note Spacing, select the small red edit square as in the first screenshot, then press Delete.
