So noticed a part of a sond was sounding weird. When i looked at the events editor all the notes looked correct. I then realised that although they have correct notes displayed and are in line with piano roll they are playing a semi tone out. The previous event in same track using same vst piano has no issues. Also in another lanes i have a few additional notes in the same time period (same track different lane) and they are perfect. I move the notes around and the note updates correctly acording to where it is on the piano roll but is still half a tone out. I restarted and exactly the same. I then added some notes in same event using step record and same thing. I play a C1 and it displays as a C1 in the C1 lane but plays as a C1#.

Make sure, there is no Pitch Bend involved in the MIDI Part.
Also make sure, the MIDI Part is not Transposed. You would find this in the Info Line of the Project window.
Hi Martin. No pitchbend. Not checked transpose but surely that would transpose the wheole track not juts a handful of notes in an event?

No, you can transpose every single MIDI Part individually.
