Nothing in cubase works

I have cubase LE 5 and Lexicon Alpha. The lexicon is connected to a samson Q7 dynamic mic. Ive tried setting up cubase but i cant get pass the “VST connections” phase.

Here is a screenshot:

In both the circles “1” and “2” I cannot change into “ASIO”. When i left click there are two options “not connected” and “Alpha ASIO” below. For some reason no matter how much i click, i cannot change it into “Alpha ASIO”.


What to do?

Have you selected the correct driver in
Devices | Device Setup … VST Audio System

Make sure you haven’t got it plugged into a USB3 slot!
