NU14 bug: Presets refuse to save - folders have to be created manually first

I am trying to save a custom-made Modulator preset, but the application just refuses to do so. Has anyone else experienced the same behaviour and knows how to deal with it?

I found this older message in the Cubase forum indicating a similar problem, but the solution there doesn’t help.

(Nuendo 14.0.20, macOS 14.4.1 Intel)

Ok, upon further investigation it seems that I can’t save presets at all. 8-P

Ahhhh! I had to create that folder in the User/Library, not the main Library.

i.e. [Username]/Library/Audio/Presets /Steinberg Media Technologies

Works now!

I spoke too soon. This is a workaround, not a solution. It seems as I have to manually create the appropriate preset folder for each and every plug-in, or at least every manufacturer. :stuck_out_tongue: This can’t be the intended way.

@ Steinberg, please look into this!

Edit: I changed the subject accordingly again.
