I may have this wrong , I found the short to move clips but can’t find the short cut to nudge amplitude +1.db
Yes, again.
You need to define what you try to “kick” or nudge, position or level.
Or Wavelab does it for you regarding what you did before.
As I said I found the short to move clips but can’t find the short cut to nudge amplitude +1.db
As you see in the dialog it’s called “ amplitude” I have searched amplitude in short cuts no. Nothing , also search level and volume . Still nothing . Which I why I am asking .
Select the amplitude there:
Then click this button of use the shortcut
And don’t forget to select the desired target. If you select “Auto”, you need to click on the volume envelope to indicate this is what you want to change.
that’s level
BTW, did you switched the tooltips off?
That helps a lot for the beginning. A lot of functions have longer tips attached.
ok thank you , I have never come across this before so wasn’t expecting the same key stroke to nudge left and right and also act as the gain shortcut. !
thanks , yes I do have the help on , just wasn’t looking in the budge section for a gain change was the problem .
The shortcuts are different: Shift + and Shift- -
Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I wasn’t expecting the same shortcuts for nudge left and right to also be used for the gain/volume…
