Nuendo 13 and Catalina Preliminary Report: Thumbs-up!

Mac Studio is on the shopping list, but thought I’d get the upgrade just in case it might work on my 5,1 12 core running Catalina.

Seamless installation and initial launch. Test drove it on a live project with a good handful of tracks and lots of plugins-- stock, Waves, UA and UADx. Graphics noticeably smoother than N12. No (so far) detectable processor-suck; everything pretty much the same as 12.

Looking forward to getting deeper into it… was anticipating not being able to use it at all!

did you have to do the old trick-remove the anymix pro file from the package contents?

I did not.

On the other hand, I forget the context of that particular workaround. But I never had to deal with it— maybe because I don’t use the plugin? In any case, booting the app was not an issue.
