Nuendo 13 + Nektar Panorama CS12 crash

When working in Nuendo 13 with the Nektar Panorama CS12, I suddenly receive many error messages and system instability warnings, or Nuendo simply crashes.
I have the latest version of the Nektar Panorama installed.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
Thank you very much.

Please make sure you are using v13.0.51, previous version of v13 are not supported.

If the problems persist, Nektar support will be able to help you.

@Tim_Chandler

Mine CS12 arrived yesterday, I cant get Nuendo 13.0.51 to recognise mine

Windows 10 64
Nudendo 13.0.51

Nektar FW Updated

script path has been been confirmed in documents

C:\Users\X\Documents\Steinberg\Nuendo\MIDI Remote\Driver Scripts\Local\Nektar\Panorama_CS12

Im getting one green circle on the controller, but greyed out lightning symbol.

have tried using it in a couple of loaded projects

the unit is switched on before opening N13

I have also switched off unit, and on again, whilst a project is active.

also have the option in N13 to add a midi surface, its in there but dont know what midi in and out ports to select to activate, incase its anything to so with that

also windows RT midi is enabled, not sure if it was worth mentioing that as well.

After installing, removing, and installing, deselecting USE windows RT MIDI it is recognizing but in no way in working order…

the fader keeps, connecting and disconnecting, and there is a lag / sticking on the fader every time it is moved.

windows midi port settings enclosed

add surface shows various options for cs12

no output port

starting to consider returning for a refund.

then when it does connect it shows this, but disconnects and reconnects every 20/30 sec

Hi Chris,

RT MIDI should be disabled, it messes with the MIDI ports. Are you using RT MIDI for any particular reason?

From your description, it pretty clear the unit is not getting enough power. Slow fader movement and drop outs, plus the grey lightening symbol. If you are connecting via a hub, it needs to be powered.

You can also try connecting directly, or a 5V DC supply connected to the CS12 if you have one.

If the issue persists, please contact Nektar support.

Im not sure, why windows RT was enabled. But I have disabled it.

From the midi ports in N13, Should anything be disabled? The N13 is picking up PORTS MIDIIN2 MINIOUT2 as shown.

I am connecting via direct usb connection

I have disabled selective suspend

But will try a 5v power adapter. thanks for your help

We also had significant installation problems because the Nektar installer did something wrong and didn’t store files correctly. Please contact Nektar support directly, they helped us within 24 hours. They are currently working on improving the installation.

You don’t have to configure anything under MIDI in Nuendo afterwards. If installed correctly, the device is simply there and, at least for us, recognizes all plugins.

Both lights now lit with 5v adapter, but problem with faders and response still sticking, also controller defaults to (in midi remote manager)

Input port
MIDIIN2 (Panorama CS12)

Output port
MIDIOUT2 (Panorama CS12)

Ok so no more drop outs but the fader is slow and sticking. I suggest contacting support with a video.
