Nuendo 13 to Nuendo 14 upgrade

I have Nuendo 13 that can be used for 3 computers at the same time. Now, if i upgrade my Nuendo 13 to the new Nuendo 14, do I get that upgrade for all 3 of the computers or do I need to purchase the upgrade separately for all 3 computers?

Yep. One single solitary purchase.

One single payout for one single license gets you three activations.

You bought a 1-license N13 which allows you to use N13 on three computers at the same time….which you know.

Your special-discount upgrade purchase to N14 gives you a new, separate 1 license with the ability to run N14 on up to three computers…like with n13

You can now do this……

Run n13 on three computers or…. run n14 on three computers…….or a combination of 13 and 14.

I own Cubendo14…..sky’s the limit….I can run 3 cubase14….3 Nuendo14….3cubase13….3 Nuendo13….and even more as I also own elicenser. I do run multiple cubendos on synchronized computers. No way do I run all of them ….but I can.

Have fun with all your choices

That’s great! Thank you for the information.

This doesn’t sound correct to me. I was under the impression that when a license is updated (Nuendo 13 to 14 in this case), the previous license is replaced with the new one. Meaning, you still only have one license and the usage is limited to three activations at any given time.

You know, that part may be right as the slaved six-computer thing for me (which I sometimes do) is with 3 Cubases and 3 Nuendos….well 7 if I bring in an elicenser machine and tap in an old cb or N10, 11, or 12….overkill of course.

At least the op will definitely still have 3 activations for 3 machines…..his choice of whether v13 or v14…..just by buying the singular n14 upgrade…which is what he wants anyway.
