Nuendo 15.0.30 – Project corruption after hiding selected tracks (Right-click + H)

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing what appears to be a serious issue in Nuendo 15.0.30.

System

Windows 11
Intel Ultra 9 285K
64 GB RAM
NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti
EuCon driver installed (although EuCon is not always active or connected when this happens)

Issue

In the Edit Window, I hide the selected track(s) by right-clicking a track and pressing “H”.

After doing this, the project eventually becomes corrupted.

I’ve experienced this several times, and it seems to happen only with larger projects containing many tracks. I haven’t been able to reproduce it consistently with smaller projects.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

If so:

Does it happen only in large projects?
Is it related to Track Visibility?
Have you found any workaround?

At the moment I don’t have reliable reproduction steps, but since this has happened multiple times, I’m wondering if this is a known issue.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Is the result different when you click the context menu with the mouse instead of using the H key?

It also seems to be related to the size/heaviness of the working project.

In severe cases, the same issue can occur even when I do not use the H shortcut and instead click Hide Selected Track from the right-click context menu with the mouse.

I also get the impression that it happens more easily when I perform operations quickly.

I don’t think it is simply due to insufficient machine performance, but in relatively light projects, this issue rarely occurs.
