After a clean installation of Nuendo 15, my projects created in Nuendo 14 are opening without their original colors and settings (everything appears grey). Nuendo 14 is still installed alongside it.
I have tried reloading my profile from Nuendo 14 and saving the preferences, but the issue persists — every time I open a project in Nuendo 15, it loads without colors and user settings.
From my understanding and past experience, newer versions of Nuendo should open projects exactly as they were in previous versions, including visual settings like track colors.
Is this expected behavior, or am I missing something?
I had something similar, and asked Greg Ondo about it on a Cubase livestream. If you’re referring to track colors, he said that they are stored on a per project basis and not globally in the profile. I spent a lot of time customizing and naming track colors and wanted to get them back. I had to open an old project in N14, go to Project Colors Setup. Click the option tab and select “Save Color Set as Default”.
I always assumed that project track colors were stored in the profile, but it seems that they are not.
thnx.
but this is another problem. why when I open the same project on a new Nuendo, i dont have the colors on the tracks? its the same configuration in the Prefs and the same color pallette.
Im just trying to see if other pewople have the same situation.
