I was testing Nuendo 15 on my MacBook Pro A2141 with the following specs:
- CPU: i9 9880H
- RAM: 16GB DDR4
- SSD: 1TB
- O/S: MacOS Sequoia 15.7.4
- Interface: Steinberg UR44C
My first impression is pretty darn good with the software a lot of useful features and refinement, especially now it comes with full-screen support on MacOS, pinch-zoom gestures and also easier UI color scheme changes and much more. But I also noticed few issues with that, I don’t know if it’s system specific or general behavior, I also compared it with Nuendo 14 for the same baseline behavior and 14 didn’t show any of those issues.

- Slight UI delays or abruptness while loading plugins/modules. (Occurs when inserting plugins during playback or idle state).
- Full-screen UI freeze (Occurs consistently when swiping between fullscreen arrangement and mixer).
The system is otherwise stable with no major issues likes crashes, audio dropouts or cracklings even during those delays and freezes.
Also, there’s one more observation from my side which is not an issue in itself, but I still thought it may be worth mentioning that, when I enable the group channel on a folder track, the underlying audio/MIDI events are no longer visible and are replaced by the volume curve here I would usually want that as it’s a folder track the underlying events should still be shown. This is not a bug but a workflow/UX improvement suggestions from my side. Overall, the software feels stable and promising, but these UI behaviors slightly affect workflow fluidity.
I would also like others to share their thoughts on this new version of Nuendo.
I am also testing this program under Windows 10, and will report it back in a few days with my findings.
