Nuendo 5.5.1 installed without 5.0...REVerence wavs missing.

I installed 5.5.1 ONLY on my new notebook (win 7 /64bit home premium/Nuendo in 32bit mode)

On my other DAWs there was a previous install of Nuendo 5.0…

On the Notebook REVerence cannot find its IR wavs now…

Do i need to install 5.0 also?Or show a directory i cannot find at the moment?

Is there a way to copy just the IR wavs?I don´t need 5.0,happy on 5.5.1…

Copied already the VST3 preset folder into the 5.5.1 folder…no IR wavs in it though…

thanx,

Nik

Just found 2 extra installer .msi vor Reverence I & II…on the original Nuendo 5 installer DVD

…can be installed without a complete Nuendo 5 pre-install…

…for those who run into the same problem!

Considering 5.5.1 is specifically designed to “update an existing Nuendo installation” (stated by Steinberg) - I am wondering why you would attempt to install it “standalone”.

I would think the installer would stop if it couldn’t find an existing install…?

VP

I realize that 5.5.0 is a full installer. But the OP is talking 5.5.1

VP

i made a 5.5 install and updated to 5.5.1…
just because i bought my new Vaio between 5.0 and 5.5 i decided to just install 5.5…
vst presets were missing,so i copied "vst3preset "folder from 1 DAW to the Vaio…
presets are there now…

then the IR wavs were missing…solution see above…

all good now, unless i missed something which i havent tried out on the notebook yet…

No need to install 5.0 for me ,though…

Need 5.5 cause i have cubase 6 on 2 other DAWs and i need full compatibility wt the new features …
