Nuendo 5.5.4 and 5.5.5 don't recognise my sound card !

Hello,

I’ve just made an upgrade to Nuendo 5.5.4 from Nuendo 5.5.3 (Mac OSX 10.6.8) and my trusty sound card (Metric Halo ULN2) is no more recognisable …

My firmware is up to date and the drivers too…

The same thing when using the 5.5.5 upgrade. :open_mouth:

What’s going on? :confused:

PS: The 5.5.3 version was so good (64 bits), I really don’t understand where is the problem?
And now, I can’t find the 5.5.3 to downgrade it … :frowning:

You should be able to access the 5.5.3 download from the support pages at MySteinberg.
By default you will always get the latest patches, but there is a link to an FTP archive of older installers too.

Well, great … I’ve changed my sound card and guess what?

It’s not working with the new card neither … :imp:

I’m running now an UAD Apollo with the last firm/software and the 5.5.4 still do not detect my sound card … what you are doing Steinberg ? :unamused:

I have Nuendo 5.5.5 with a ULN-2 on OS 10.8.2 and I have no problem in 32 or 64 bit.

I would advise to re-download and install Metric Halo latest driver.

Thank you for your response, but I’m running now an UAD Apollo Duo on the OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) and still have a problem with the newest version. :unamused:
