I have registered Nuendo 5 + NEK 5 and as I understand it’s necessary to get new activation codes in order to use Nuendo 5.5 and NEK 5.5.

You haven’t registered Nuendo in MySteinberg so far (at least under this email address). That is why there is no activation code issued to you.

I think i have the same kind of problem here;
I used a 5.5 trial version prior to buying a N4 → N5 update. The activation code I get on the box is for a N5 version, but I am using a 5.5 since the beginning. Now my trial license is coming to his end and I don’t have a proper 5.5 license. I don’t want to downgrade to a 5.0. What should I do?
