Nuendo 8 Error Message With Track Archive


I’m experiencing an error message when I try to import a specific track archive into a project in Nuendo 8. I’ve tried multiple computers and multiple projects (even creating a blank one to import to) and continually receive the error message stating;

“A serious problem has occurred: Please try to save your project under another name and then restart Nuendo8.exe. If this problem persists please contact Steinberg Technical support with a description of what you do to create this problem and the created file.”

After clicking OK nothing happens, the TA window to select which tracks to import never appears.

BUT if I import this track archive into a project in Nuendo 7 it works just fine. It seems to be only an issue with 8. I tried exporting a new track archive from the original project in Nuendo 8 and am now having problems even doing that (Nuendo crashes).
