Nuendo Cue Sheet Export Format Feature

Hello,
Is it possible (please) to have (the option)to sort the cue list to time code position as it does now, how ever merging/ignoring the tracks. One list of track details, instead of a block per track. Then the the post producer can work his or her way through one list of Track names and codes instead of merging multible track groups lists [ for example] music track 1 , music track 2, music track 3 etc.
A complaint I have received from many a Post Producer.

Thanks,

Mike

For now, would you be able to import into an excel-type editor and reorder according to the start timecode field and re-export?

Just a thought.

Hi MattiasNYC,

Do you know how to do this in excel?

Thanks for the reply,

Mike

I just opened up an export from Nuendo (.txt) in Libre Calc. I highlighted the “Start Time” column from the first value through the last which included all tracks listed. Then I just went to “Data” in the menu and then “Sort Ascending”. In that dialog box I selected “Extend Selection” which automatically adds adjacent columns. That seems to list everything according to that column. I made sure to leave the header content intact.

I would think you need to either clean that up before or after to make it look ok, but at least it “merges” all items.

I did not re-export though, so… there’s that too…

Many thanks Mattias, will give this a try.
Mike
