Nuendo Grid zoom when using timecode

Hey there!
Is there any way to stop the grid to continue zooming when you set it to 1 frame? Same as in ProTools. Thanks for the help!
Just that the “visual grid” stays at 1 frame when you are zoomed all the way in.
Currently it always continues to create “grid lines” when I zoom in.

Thanks for the help!

Personally, I like the sub-frame divisions (especially 1/2 frame) when working on finely-synced content. However, I don’t feel like 1/4 frames are well-represented by the grid lines. It can get quite ‘busy’ looking on the screen when zoomed in tightly.

Agree! But for me the 1 frame grid size is usually enough, if I need to sync something inbetween frames, i can just deactivate the grid for a second and do some fine adjustments. But I am right that you can’t set the grid max zoom to 1 frame, am I?

I don’t believe so. It would definitely be a nice feature (even the ability to toggle it off).

I agree - it would be a very helpful function! Can’t be too hard to implement? I have no idea. Really hope for this to happen!

Agree, it is a pain for the eyes

I will just cross reference the same request from the Cubase forum here.

Frames, 16ths - in the end it is the same feature request.
