Hello,
My Irig Duo Pro doesn’t produce sound since Nuendo 14updated its last version. Nuendo recognizes it as an interface but not sound.
Any ideas? All settings are correct, even in Rossetta mode.

Hi,
Does it work with the Built-in audio, please? Just to find out, if it’s on the driver side, or Nuendo side.
With the built-in audio and even an RME , it works fine.
Speculating, it seems like a Nuendo issue because the Irig Duo Pro works well with Wavelabs and other software.
Hi,
Ensure, you have the latest Nuendo update installed, please. Are you on Mac or Windows? Which version?
Latest updated nuendo version.
I’m on a mac, the last os update.
Hi,
Does any other application (but Nuendo) produce a sound on the hardware?
Hi Martin thank you for replying,
Do you have any solution?
Hi,
Not yet, we are still investigating.
Does other software stream a sound to this hardware?
Yes, all of them. Even Cubase.
Nuendo, recognize it but there’s no sound/output
A complete shot in the dark but…
Are you using Control Room?
They have changed the icon that turns the monitor off and on. It is on the right side now above the volume knob.
Yes, I’m using it. I’ve tried clicking, unclicking, and everything else, but there’s still no sound.
It must be a bug in the latest update.
This is a very straightforward tutorial for setting up Nuendo’s CR.
If someone is having trouble setting it up, this tutorial should help. (nothing to do with my iRig/nuendo issue)
If any Steinberg employee sees this post, please fix this bug.
It is strange that this is the only topic describing this issue.
Asking only because it hasn’t been mentioned… Can you upload a screenshot of your Audio Connections control room tab?
Hi Steve,
Thank you so much in advance for your interest, I truly appreciated.
Please let me know if I’m omitting or ignoring any proper “wire-routing” information.
First, to isolate the problem, please try disabling the Control Room function and connecting directly to your audio interface in the “Output” tab of the Audio Connections window.
If you still don’t get any audio output from the desired port, it’s likely that Nuendo is not recognizing the interface correctly. Reinstalling the driver may resolve this issue.
If you do get audio output from the desired port in this configuration, then the problem likely lies within your Control Room settings.
Hi,
Can you see the meters on the Control Room, when playback the project?
Could you try to reinstall the Audio Device’s driver, please?
Hi Showgo,
Thank you so much for your time and messages.
All you’ve written, I already do. NUENDO recognizes the interface, but there’s no sound, even reinstalling Nuendo. I’m on a Mac, so there’s no driver yore instal.
Hi Martin, thanks for your messages.
In the pictures I uploaded, there’s playingback.
I’m on a Mac, and this interface doesn’t require an Audio Device driver. Cubase recognizes it, and Nuendo recognized it before the last update months ago.
