Hi folks,
there’s a problem with my ADR.
in Nuendo 14 I can’t show the dialog overlay all the time., when it’s in the lower part of the window. It disappears, as soon as I press stop. It works on the upper part, though.
Also I can’t change the free text in the audio-mixdown when I want to change it in the scheme window.
Is that a bug? New ways to do it?

The other problem is not fixed: In “Ereignis” is “neuer Text” written. In Nuendo 13 I could change that field to a new text. Not in 14
Not on a double click? Did you try and remove that segment and then add it again?

Same here about keep captions all the time. The checkbox exists but it does not work. Even if you’ve selected the marker with the ADR, the text only shows while ADR is being run.
I don’t know why, but suddenly it works in my projects. The only thing I did, was to check the box “show overlay always” (or something like that in german. Than I closed Nuendo and opened the same project again.
I’m trying to do the same you explain but it doesn’t work for me. Same project opened with N13.0.51 shows captions all the time.

For me it does.
The only annoying thing is, that a can’t change “new text” in the audio-mixdown set-up, when you want to name the export.
@Thomas_Fedrowitz and @Dolfo are you both on windows or Mac? what MacOS version and chipset?
I’ve tested on Intel and Arm and both work fine for me.

the naming scheme doesn’t work on my computer: Mac Studio M2
I can’t change the free text and also I don’t have the attributes “counter” and “Cycle Marker ID”
If you don’t have these fields then you are not exporting cycle markers (left bottom of the export window). It has 3 options: locator, cycle markers and arranger. This has been changed with n14 i think.
The freefield text is weird im on an m1max and intel and both work correctly.
Ah, I didn’t look close enough.
The arranger is new.
In none of these three possibilities it is possible to change the free text.
And I really use that a lot.
