Nuendo shows non-existent unplayable empty audio files in mediabay

As shown in the GIF, I have an issue with those mouth wind SFX files. There are 1 - 11 different files, but each file has its own duplicate that is non-existent unplayable empty audio file.

When I right-click > reveal in finder on the duplicates it shows nothing.
I looked into the folder that the normal original audio files are stored and there’s no such abnormal files in it. Meaning, only Nuendo is somehow reading those “ghost” files.

I’m on a Mac so I even tried to see if there’s any hidden files by pressing Command + Shift + .(period) but nothing was found.

Can anyone assist me with this issue?
How can I delete or ignore those ghost files in Nuendo?

Have you tried rescanning that folder in Nuendo’s mediabay? It could be that it created a duplicate after upgrading and it cannot find it (because it was never there).

already did and nothing has changed

Just for visual confirmation

Well, unticked the SSD and ticked it again then the empty files are now gone.
Don’t just rescan disk, but also uncheck/check the disk.
