Nuendo Version 14 crashes

My Windows11 6 4-bit system, Nuendo Version 1 4.0.4 0(x64) - Built on Oct 6 6 20 25 Once the dolby mixing template is loaded, it becomes unstable immediately, a pop-up appears with an error message, and then I tried many times without success, including reinstalling, and the problem still occurred. How to solve this problem?

I officially confirm that there are at least 2 issues in relation to Dolby Atmos projects, which is why at the moment

I strongly recommend not to install the 0.40 update in case you work with Dolby Atmos.

As I wrote in a feature-request thread I posted Steinberg should have a website section with “Technical Alerts” informing users about known issues, with each issue in that section having a bug tracker number.

As it stands now there is as far as I can see no announcement warning users of this. It is terrible business practice at this point.

Nuendo 14.0.40 maintenance update & release notes

Hello Timo Getting a serious crash in 14.0.40 opening existing Dolby Atmos 14.0.32 Nuendo project (Nuendo internal Renderer not Dolby external). Never ever had this before! : crash exit error is related to VCRUNTIME140.Dll Not good, going back to 14.0.32! EDIT: REINSTALLED 14.0.32 no errors or crash. Please relay to team that a fix for 10.0.40 with a HOTFIX is required as soon as possible is this is not at all good.

I don’t understand what the “Nuendo hub” is for if it’s not to communicate relevant information… like the recommendation NOT to install version 14.0.40 if you work with Atmos.

I’m disappointed with Steinberg’s quality control.
