Number of verses at the end of each part below the note line.

Hi,

how can I write the number of verses at the end of each part below the note line.
In Full score I did a “Default Text” and put it manually under the last line. How can I adapt it for all parts (…like in Sibelius) ?

Use system text (Alt-Shift-X). You may have to set it below the staff in each part, as I don’t believe system object properties can be propagated.

I think I’d employ the following workaround:

  1. Goto Layout Options and set the following for all layouts (you’ll need to apply to part layouts and score layouts separately)

  1. At the end of the flow, go Shift+R fine Enter, then set the Custom Text property and type whatever you like into the box. Job done, and should be in the correct place in all layouts (and no need to propagate anything).

Thanks, a good workaround.

…what about implementing the ctrl+shift+h function from Sibelius?

macOS Mojave Version 10.14.6
Dorico Pro3 Version 3.0.10.1051 (Oct 7 2019)
VSTAudioEngine3 3.0.10.132

Dorico’s architecture just isn’t geared towards one function for arbitrarily hiding or showing any object.
Anyway, the only reason you need it in this situation (in Sibelius) is as a workaround.
