Numbers for line# instead of bar#

Is it possible to mark each line by number as we usually put bar numbers at the beginning of each staff?

I’ve been asked to transcribe a plain chant passion what takes more than 12 pages. As in this case bar number doesn’t really make much sense, I was thinking to write the line number above every staff for rehearsals. Not quite sure it is a great idea though…

Hi @kaposi.g , you can use Rehearsal marks, and set its Sequence type to Number (globally in Engraving Options or locally in the Properties), at the beginning of each system.
