Anyone here using Nvidia Quadro FX380 graphics card?
It causes hell with my Cubase Pro 8. I get a few seconds of playback, it stutters then starts again.
I read somewhere else here that ‘Nvidia Quadro FX380 doesn’t support Aero’.
Is this correct and if so are there any workarounds?
I don’t own one of the same cards but I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t support Aero. Aero was introduced at the end of 2005/beginning of 2006 and your card was introduced in 2009. You do know the Quadro line are the professional targeted cards, meant for design and CAD workstations and such, not that they shouldn’t perform equally well in a DAW computer.
You might have to troubleshoot trying different driver versions, compatibility with these things can be finicky.
