I recently changed from working with Samplitude to working with Cubase. Best decision I ever made…
I was just wondering. In Samplitude, if you double-click on an audio object (within a track) you can add individual effects, panning, eq,… to every single object.
I can’t seem to find this in Cubase. Is this possible, as it was very usefull in the mixing process. If it’s not possible in Cubase, how do you guys solve this?
select the event or part you want to apply an effect on and go to the “Audio” menu and select “Process”. You can also access to this menus by pressing “Alt” plus right clicking on top of the event.
cubase or nuendo doesn’t have object oriented FX, i heard it may be in the pipeline for nuendo… you can do the offline FX as outlined above (and you do have undo on each clip), but it’s not quite the same.
