Hi, wonder has anyone else had this problem using OCTACHRON in Cubasis, when I record pattern to track the midi notes become a mess and impossible to distinguish from one another. I’ve no idea why this is happening because playback of pattern after recording is perfectly fine but midi notes in piano roll are impossible to edit. I’ve included screenshots. I’m using latest Cubasis 3 ver 3.8.2 and MV08 drum machine app. It also happens using different drum machine apps so I believe it must be OCTACHRON or Cubasis issue, thanks.
Please share the topic with the guys from Octachron.
If required, I’m at hand to hand over a Cubasis promo code for testing purposes.
Please keep me updated.
Best,
Lars
Hey this is Markus, developer from Octachron. Thanks for your offer for the promo code but I’m already long term customer of course!
Great software! ![]()
I’m not 100% sure whats causing the issue for @fergal.joseph but I’ve noticed something odd. Maybe Im interpreting things not the right way. But Octachron relies on the flag AUHostTransportStateMoving. If its false it will not send any MIDI. If it run it inside Cubasis without a preroll its not a problem because Cubasis immediately sets AUHostTransportStateMoving to true, but if you have preroll enabled it will only set it to true in the audio block thats after the one that crosses the beat measure 0. I’m sorry if I’m not explaining myself well, hope you get what I’m trying to say.
Cheers,
Markus
