Is there a bug that means when entering music, the input shift/option and note name does not work for the note b? It works for other notes. It’s frustrating to have to manually move all the b’s up an octave manually when required.
I think it’s a keyboard shortcut conflict – on Windows?
Shifting an existing note ‘b’ up or down an octave by using ‘cmd+option’ and the arrow keys will work fine (up arrow for octave up, down arrow for octave down). However, if you’re entering notes via the input karat, then ‘option+shift’ and then ‘b’ will not work—pressing ‘ctrl’ and ‘b’ does result in the octave down. If you search the forum, you will find this is because of some bug in the Qt framework Dorico is built upon.
