Octave Lines with Removed Rests issue

Hey Dorico team!

I’ve come across an issue where I am unable to add octave lines over rests that have been hidden with the Edit>Remove Rest command. I’m attaching an image of the original and my current recreation, as well as the Dorcio save file.

The line has no problem appearing over the F in the second measure, but you’ll notice is struggles to be moved over the preceding upbeat, and if I try to enter it with the Shift-C popover it won’t add itself at all.

An incredibly minor problem, but hopefully it’s a bug you might find interesting.

workaround:
You can add it here:

Then move it with cmd+alt+left arrow with the grid set to 8-notes, finally prolong it with alt+shift+right arrow.

Thank you! It worked on my end!
I’ve never tried the alt-cmd-arrow command before. Time to look up what exactly it’s doing…

You will discover a new world (hopefully). Those navigation keys (the arrow keys combined with various modifier keys) are one of the most frequently used in my workflow.
