Odd display view when switching modes

This is switching between Write and Engrave modes. Oddly enough, I don’t get this result when I switch to Play mode, then to Engrave mode. The issue persists, not a one-off. I’m running a 4K screen on a Windows laptop, if that’s important.

Not asking for anything actionable as I can work around it, just FYI.

We’ve seen this before (and it has been reported here before), but it doesn’t tend to be reproducible from session to session, so it can’t then be reproduced on demand.
