Still new to Dorico and doing the “First 5 Steps” tutorial. On page 63 it instructs how to change the first page to page 2. I did that, and now the two pages are shown as they would be on the music stand, connected as a spread, but the righthand page, which is now page 3, has the 3 at the top left instead of the top right, contrary to the illustration on page 63 of the tutorial.
Check where the page number token is in your page template in Engrave Mode.

Changing the initial page number does automatically make it a left page, and should update where the page number goes.
It’s possible that what’s happened is you have overridden the second page, resulting in a page template override, which locks the frames on that page in place, preventing them updating if the context changes. So, if you did something to override this page when it was still p2, that’s where the page number text frame will remain, even if it’s now p3.
Try removing page template overrides @MusiComPublishing and hopefully that will get you back on track:
