Jeremy, if you have a midi controller, like a keyboard, disconnect it and start playing your project file again. Does this make a difference?

No experience with this, but you could try setting this in Preferences->Play->Recording [image]

i’ve tried that also. To give you an idea how random it is, it may happen once on a repeated section of music…either the first time or the second time, but not the other time in the same repeated section. no rhyme or reason to it.

how do I upload a video? I took 2 videos with my phone back to back that show two different random pitch bending playbacks. but can’t upload them here.

Just upload a short Dorico file that demonstrates the problem.

FYI. I just checked the box that said, “Filter out midi controllers” and it did the pitch bending again, in a completely different place. it’s completely random. I even exported the audio, and it only did it a little at the very end.
