Yes but even Steinbergs’ own invention, aka “Digital Musician” barely even rates a mention in this forum.
In other words, these things are likely best implemented as plugin environments but we will see I guess.
Another thing about this program is typically no Drum Map, so it makes it a bit awkward in my view.
Interesting though the idea of sharing MIDI data in realtime, that to me would be the best thing it has going for it and it would be interesting to see how it might work, for example on a stable fibre network.
Yes this is a rudementary way off working together, with cubase you could also sent your screen. But in this way only one can work on projekt and the other one is just guiding and giving inputs
Fûck you! I edit my post as much as I want to make them readable and present what I want to present! And I’ve not more than you to hide. Probably a lot less since you are the paranoid one.
Hey mate take a cold shower and watch your language no need to react like this or are we now in kindergarden or preschool? And perhaps you edit your post once more.
I mean skype with rudimentary and still checking out the digital musician plugin haven’t heard of it before
Thanks for this hint.
yeah, sorry for being attacked, how stupid of me!
Tip from the coach: If your mind is allergic to strong language, sprinkle some baby powder over it and let it take a nap!
Na i am not allergic but see just no sense in it. And what a escuse and logic i^ve been attacked so i have the right for strong language.
In germany we have a proverb hitten dogs bark …
So enough OT back to the min theme ohmstudio or how to realise collaboration with cubase…
The DM plugin/container was developed by Charlie Steinberg.
While it does not allow MIDI to trigger instruments it does allow sharing of real-time audio streams, so you could for example put it onto an fx group or stereo buss and play along to pre-recorded audio.
I guess with enough bandwidth you could monitor inputs as well.
It supports re-wire in slave mode but as in another post I made, it messes with the tempo map.
What I’d like is a VST3 version that supports MIDI input for notes and controllers but in the first instance I simply want it to allow audio to pass though without bussing it anywhere unless I complete misunderstand something.
