old .all files via SX3 to cubase8, installation not working

Hello,

I need to convert a bunch of old .all files to the new cpr format. I understand I need to install SX3 for conversion.

But installing SX3 in Windows 7/64 results in :
“There are other activated processes which disturb the installation process. Please restart the computer and repeat the installation”

And installing SX3 in Windows 7/32 gives me:
“eLicenser contains no valied license for this application”

So far so good, but I’m still stuck … anyone ?

Did you get your Cubase SX3 from Steinberg?


Do you actually have a valid license, and installed on the dongle?


I gather you have SX3 in 32 bit.
