Old Guy Tip: Windows With No 'X'

If you’re old like me, you may find the new windowing as confusing as I did.

I just got an Android Tablet recently otherwise I would NEVER have figured this out. If you have a dialogue box with no ‘X’, just click yer mouse anywhere -outside- the window. Don’t bother hitting ‘Esc’. There is no escape. :smiley:

Apparently, that acts as a ‘cancel’. It’s the ‘Android touch’ way of doing things.

I’m just stunned that one can’t assume that ‘Esc’ means cancel anymore. (Sorry, anger leaked out. :wink: )

Agreed, I would also like to being able to close any window, it being a editor, mixer, plugin or whatever by just hitting ESC.
