Hi, my old usb broke and can’t be used it how do I update my Products on the new one. I have Cubase 9 .
You have to log into your steinberg account and register the new elicenser dongle that you’ve just purchased from amazon or whatever. You’ll see your previously-registered (now broken) elicenser listed there as well.
I’d have to open my computer login area to remember if there’s then a tab to move the licenses from one dongle to the newly-registered elicenser…or if it requires contacting support as a second step.
As you know, come May 2025, you’re gonna be out of luck doing this type of thing at all when the server shuts down…so…you might wanna buy Cubase 14 now so that you can begin moving away from Cubase 9.
