Hi - This is asking about Waves 9.6 (the white window in the upper left of the attached pic), I’m up to date with Version 13 or 14.
I’d like to stop this from popping up … it’s not the end of the world, but it is a nuisance to have to click the cancel button every time I boot up Cubase.
I’m not sure what a waveshell is though, and more importantly I’m not sure how to go about finding them to delete them (especially without deleting any “new” waveshells I might need to be keeping around).
They are all called wavesshell…with a number and version number. They are in you vst folder and vst3 folder.
The v9 ones can bee deleted, but to be sure rename them first to .old instead of .dll or .vst3
There might be some instructions on the waves site too.
