Question for Steinberg
There’s a VST called Olympus Symphonic Choir Micro and Elements.
It’s a limited version of Olympus Symphonic Choir.
Olympus Symphonic Choir is available for purchase, but only for the full Kontakt sampler.
Will there be an option for the full Olympus Symphonic Choir on Halion?
Why should I buy Kontakt if I already have Halion?

It does appear that Soundiron’s (info from their website) full version of Olympus Symphonic Choir requires a FULL version of Kontakt, not the “player” version. Soundiron’s Micro and Elements will work on Kontakt Player. Steinberg also offers the Micro and Elements version that will run in Halion. I have no idea if Steinberg will offer or ever offer the full version, you’d need to contact them.

That’s why I’m directing my question mainly to the Steinberg people.
They seem to know best.
I know that the full Olympus Symphonic Choir application requires Full Kontakt.
But since Steinberg offers Micro and Elements instances for Halion, it seems logical that the full Olympus option should also be available. Especially since it has so many more features than these stripped-down versions.
And for me, it’s a problem – I’ve had Halion since version 2 or 4, so long ago I can’t remember – and I wouldn’t buy Kontakt.
But if Olympus full doesn’t work on Halion, then I’ll have to spend money on Kontakt. Just to run Choir – that’s a bit silly.
