omf .. question pls help

hi …
wanted to open a logic file and or a pro-tools file .
we exported the projects from host … to cubase via the omf. file extension.
works great also other way around … …
we had or have one problem … …
no tempo is saved with the export and after import no tempo is available … thus bpm 120 …
after using a tempo / beat calculation the audio files are not stretched correctly… and the whole project is out of sync with itself …
any threads on this or info anywhere in here or www .???
cheers in advance ?

got home and read the book … but nothing to enlighten me …
maybe when i export i know what to do but not for the files we already have …
no big deal … i dont have the work to do on those projects ha ha some other poor soul has … but they are clever duded they will work it out …
cheers anyway

OMF does, AFAIK not contain any tempo information. Usually you would 1. open a new project, 2. set the tempo of the song (which should be provided together with the omf, maybe in a readme file) and then 3. import the omf.
