you showed Omni vocal singing in English.

you raise expectations that it sing

in English, why is it when I try it Omni vocal is not sing in English but a foreign language.

Is it in Japanese? What troubleshooting steps have you taken? I don’t use it, but I’m pretty sure it works in English.

Omnivocal in Cubase 15 is fantastic

I finally got some time this afternoon to give a (relatively) quick test of Omnivocal. I decided to use the U.S. national Anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner”, both because I wanted something in the public domain, and because it is one of those songs that can be a challenge for real singers. Omnivocal is a feature reduced version of VX-Beta, which is a product available for free for any Vocaloid 6 owner.

Omnivocal does require some TLC to produce passable English sounding lyrics, especially when you discover it only has the IPA phonemes necessary to produce Japanese words, which can produce some English words, but not all of them. Since Yamaha mostly develops these products for the Asian market or people looking for a solution to generate Japanese vocals (try putting Japanese lyrics there and it’s a night and day difference).
