I used Omnisphere on a project. Now after a couple of months I tried to open the project. I get a prompt about denying or allowing network access. No matter if I hit allow or deny, right after Cubase shows the missing ports icon it crashes every time. Now I can’t open a very important last version of a project.
Update omnisphere - had that Crash too.
Omnisphere 2 opens a network socket and listen for external commands (unprotected) and it crashes if something do something
wrong on that socket. I found out this when security scanners found this port. Really bad behaviour from spectrasonic to install a network backdoor. This on 2.0.3d mac version.
