Omnisphere icon problem

For some reason the icons don’t work properly in CB 14.0.32 - I can’t see, if the module are on or off.
Everything works though, so it’s just the icons.

And they work in both CB 13 and Dorico, so something has happened in 14

Anyone ?

Which icons? Can you provide a screenshot please?

The icons for the different modules - like this:

Is there any way to revert to Cubase 14.0.20.240 ?
I’m asking because I’m in contact with the Spectrasonic people, and it works fine for them with that version.

Mads

It would be nice of the Spectrasonic people to test their software with the latest available version.

Downloads of older versions can be gotten from the support pages of steinberg.net

Just an FYI, all options in Omnisphere work for me in C14.0.32 on macOS 26.0.1 (and Nuendo 14.0.32). Curiously, what doesn’t work? The “Power” button or “Zooming” into the full Filter sub-menu when you click the magnifying glass “+” symbol?

Thank’s Thor. I’m on Windows - could make a difference..

All the buttons don’t work - e.g. don’t light up. But they do change the functions. I just can’t see it.

In the standalone, CB 13 and Dorico there are no problems

I’m on Windows 11 here. The buttons function normally and also light up as expected.
Cubase 14.0.32.
Also, why are the Spectrasonics guys testing this on a backdated version of Cubase?

This is really strange. I just reinstalled CB 14 and Omnisphere - same result. Must be something in my system, then..

Guess they are busy doing other things..

I just changed profile in Cubase, and now it works!

So it must be a setting somewhere in my usual profile thats does it.
I’d really like to use my usual profile, where things are set up, the way i like it..

Any ideas as to what it could be ?

Well, Spectrasonics have always been a little bit ‘different’.

I can’t think why that would be. Did you try disabling preferences?

Do you mean safe mode ?

Yes, hold down ctrl-alt-shift when the Cubase splash screen comes up and it will give you an option window. Choose Disable Preferences and then try opening Omnisphere again.

I did that, and it worked in safe mode. Though it gave me a warning that Omniphere couldn’t be found and would be replaced with Omnisphere 2.8.7c.

So I saved that, and it seems to work properly now.

Thank’s for all your help

Good.
2.8.7c is the latest version.

Yes, i know. I already had that version installed, but the Spectrasonic people advised me to reinstall it anyway, which I did - without any luck.
And it did show up as 2.8.7c, but appearantly didn’t work anyway, - until taking a trip to safe mode.
Guess we’ll never know what happended..
