Whenever I try to save a patch within Omnisphere 3 I get this message (whatever folder I select):
Select a category from the User folder, or create a folder inside the User folder and select that new folder.
No matter what I do or where I select I can’t save a patch.
Any ideas?
What do you mean by “can’t”? What happens when you try?
It’s just that that prompt comes up, and it won’t let me save anything. that is every time I press save. I just get that prompt and no matter what folder I choose I can’t save. And it’s also a Cubase prompt not a Omnisphere prompt.
It’s not a Cubase issue, the prompt is coming from Omnisphere (I wrote the code that displays that prompt). You can’t save to a factory folder, so all you need to do is select a user folder. If you need more help, contact Spectrasonics support and they’ll be happy to help you.
As I said, I created folders within folders within folders and not one of them could I save to
