Omnivocal glitch

If you change the voice (female to male for example) after you’ve entered the lyrics the sound doesn’t change.

Windows 11

I noticed that, too… I had to close the editor and reopen it.

I tried it again and cannot get it to change from the original male to female. I found a potential female vocalist and would like to send a demo with a female vocal on the track…

Well… seems the issue is pitch. Female sounds like Male if it’s not transposed up.

Nope certainly isn’t that.

Male and female vocals can be one to two octaves away from each other. I think Omnivocal expects you to chose pitches accordingly.
While the female is fine with Cubase’s C3 the male singer appreciates pitches lower than that.

Ok, the issue has nothing to do with pitch (octaves)
Change the voice (gender) on an already entered vocal it doesn’t change. Regardless of how you pitch shift.
Open a new omnivocal track with the different voices and copy the midi entered vocal and it’s different. (It works as should)

I understand the difference between female and male vocal ranges. Even on a AI instrument. I’ve been using instruments like Dreamtonics for a while.
This issue certainly isn’t solved. What I’d like to know if it’s just an issue on my system or if anyone else is experiencing the same.
