When I type “lives” into Omnivocal, it pronounces the word to rhyme with “gives”. I want “lives” to be pronounced to rhyme with “hives”. I’ve tried a few things like [l I v s], but had no success. Can anyone please help me?
Is there a page anywhere that may help me with alternative pronunciation of other words specifically using Omnivocal.
Omnivocal has been a great app for me and I’m looking forward to how it is developed beyond beta.

Thanks. I should have read the manual more thoroughly. Having looked at how I as in “fire” is created I found that the following works: lives[l ay v z].
Close, but “lifes” is pronounced with an “f” instead of a “v”, so it was better, but not quite what I wanted. Having read the manual (like I should have done in the first place!), I found that “lives[l ay v z]” works.
