I notice a omnivocal beta update as part of the new Cubase update (I think)
Any information on what has been addressed/Improved?

I think you got that wrong. Omnivocal beta was part of the initial Cubase 15 release and it hasn’t had an update, yet. At least, it wasn’t declared in the release notes. Hopefully, there will be future updates in the months to come.
The omnivocal in the download manager is a later version (higher number) than the one included in the first Cubase 15.
When I ran the set-up it gave me the option update.
