Once Stems are dragged in project window

how do you completely disengage SL?
I close SL (red button) -
select “no extension” (inspector) -
choose “make extension permanent”
and still SL is making Cubase miss behave.
Can’t pitch correct without hanging and/or losing audio. I assume these issues must be from spectral layers 10 pro as my system is completely stable, never hang, crash or any other anomaly. Anybody? Steiny?

Select the part then go to Menu > Extensions > Remove extension
