One instrument in 4/4 time, another instrument in 7/8 time

I compose and arrange in Cubase 13 Pro and then want to import the MIDI file into Dorico 5 to create the sheet music. I use Dorico in silent mode, since I have everything in terms of sound in Cubase 13 Pro.

My question: Is it possible to record one instrument in 4/4 time (MIDI and audio) in Cubase 13 Pro, and at the same time another instrument in 7/8 time? If this is then imported into Dorico 5, will it also be displayed accordingly, i.e. is this also possible in Dorico? Maybe someone already knows this. Thanks a lot.

Hi,

There is only one Signature Track in Cubase. Of course, you can record 7/8, but the pattern will be shown in 4/4 signature.
