One lyric word in odd font?

What is causing the word “scorn” in the second verse to be a different font than the rest of the lyrics? This file was uploaded from Finale to Dorico. This is the only remaining issue that I am not getting corrected. I have deleted the lyric phrase and retyped it in again. It appears fine in Dorico, but when I save to pdf, “scorn” changes in appearance? PDF screenshot is above. Dorico5 file is below.

HZ045.dorico (799.8 KB)

Hi @rschrock, I have no issue with your file (Dorico 6.1.10) PDF export. I attach the resaved Dorico file, in case it is a glitch:

HZ045.dorico (1.6 MB)

And here the PDF, just in case:
HZ045 - Full score.pdf (42.5 KB)

If this doesn’t solve the issue, you can try selecting that word, right click>Lyrics>Edit Single Lyric… and check/edit the font:

What is the source of that excellent text?

Do you know who wrote the hymn?

Bill,

I am updating the digital files of the Hymns of Zion, a hymnal of the Apostolic Christian Church. This is song #45 in the book. It can be obtained at the following link:

@rschrock Rachel, it’s better not to publish your e-mail address on a public forum like this, to prevent spammers and other nastiness. I’d suggest to you to edit your posts (pencil button).
